You should contact the local BBB. I once had a similar problem with an establishment I wanted to buy a tire from. One call to the local BBB and problem solved. Of course, "better business" and Louisiana may be an oxymoron.

I always return emails asap...so much so, that I am the one waiting on THEM to get back to me. In this business it is imperative to have a Blackberry or Iphone so you can return emails even from class. My response time is normally about 10 min. if I am awake and not on a date.
As for phone calls, I don't deal with them which is why I list no number on the net. If a guy emails me and just says "Call me" with no references, that call will NOT be made. I don't make cold calls or fish for business, and find it tacky to do so. I also find it risky to call someone without first emailing and asking if it is still a good time to do so. You never know if a guy's boss or wife could be with him an hour after he told you to call him, so I double check.
