Yours don't sound so bad, I think they are all available at HEB which is where I plan on doing my shopping. The beer section at the Specs in Midtown is too much for me. Hell that whole store is.

Honestly I would go with cheaper beer that are popular.

Light beer - Bud Light / Miller Light

Bitter beer - Heineken / stella

Full bodied and/or dark would be- Sam Adam's / Guinness

This would cover the majority of people.

If I had to pick 3 it would be:

^^^^ Long ago, I reached a point in my life that I wouldn't drink either of those two beers even if they were free.

Any lady on this site that's seen me drink those (or bare backed her) is invited to call me out on it.

I enjoy an IPA of many different brewers. They are not all the same.
Drawback to really good "beer" is that the alcohol content is much higher than that ditch piss water that some people drink.

Kind of agree. Anyone who actually likes beer isn't drinking light anything unless it's to get a buzz without getting too fat. Newcastle Ale is good.would drink that over the locals myself.

While there are many great beers in the world,....some for enjoying while mowing the lawn or working in the garage,...and some for washing down venison stew on a cold winter night.....

Not what is each persons one favorite or example of one.

Note to op: while it is so fucking hot out, revise the list to something like this:

1. Hard lemonade or something like Seagram's triple black

2. Lightest color like the blonde mentioned or a mega brew beer for blue collar tards

3. A real (darker) amber...examples, St. Arnolds amber, Sam Adams, Fat Tire (bitter), other

Until the cold front, you can skip the dark/black/stouts. Personally, I can down those while digging ditches or mowing the lawn....but most can't.

(Hell most can't swallow them on cold night by a campfire....when they're best.)

Beer, like women, is a personal preference.

Some like them light and blonde.

Some like them dark and stout.

...and everything in between.

1. Shiner blonde
2. Modelo
3. Red Stripe

Rocket Fuel by 8th Wonder

I prefer an Ale. Amber Ale, Blonde Ale, Pale Ale or India Pale Ale. I like a Shriner IPA called Wild Hare.
