Been there and done that multiple times over many years but only with folks I got to know over and over before even thinking or attempting.

Perhaps a short "exploratory" journey to Corpus or Padre Island for a couple days might shed more light on compatibility.

Always plenty more folks to meet and greet in this here hobbying community.
