Booking a hotel for only a few hours.

I have never left my keys in the room. I was packing to move a couple of.weeks ago and found the box I had been throwing my hotel keys in. I have so many, I could cover a 10'x12' bedroom wall with them.

When I travel for work, I officially check out at the desk so I can get any receipts I need to get reimbursed (though usually they'll slide a copy under your door in the early AM).

If I am just on vacation, like everyone else says, just leave.
