I know I am not very well known here in on the Arkansas Board, but many who do know me in the Texas forums will honestly and happily tell you of my blunt honesty. Whether it is good or bad publicity as you call it, I'm still going to respond whether it puts me in a good or a bad light. Just how I was raised.

Dallas alone has 10 times the people & providers than the whole state of AR. We can’t even get 2 separate forums for NWA & Little Rock metro... and you really had to ask why it’s not more active?
The answer to the lady's question:

Of the 307 largest cities in the U. S. in 2016, 38 are in Texas. That includes Houston, the 4th largest, San Antonio, the 7th largest, Dallas, the 9th largest, Austin, the 11th largest, Fort Worth, the 16th largest, and El Paso, the 20th largest. Those 6 cities alone have a population of 7.595 million people. The entire state of Arkansas has 2.988 million people. Texas is at 27.86 million.

Within that list of the 307 largest U. S. cities, there is exactly 1 in Arkansas. Little Rock has a population of 199,000 people.

That puts Little Rock at number 117.

There are 14 cities in Texas larger than the largest city in Arkansas.

Well that's great for the statistics of it and all.... but people still post on here everyday lol. The lack of the sense of the community whether it's one forums or 20 forums it's still the broken down Community but we as an Arkansas Forum have to do as a state. And that's fine I was just merely making comments of the lack thereof the community. Now I have recently put up a post inquiring about establishing a monthly meet and greet for the Arkansas forum. I would love ideas and input from everyone cuz I would like to do this
Your second point was about the difference in "activity". The fact is that those
"statistics" that you seem to want to casually dismiss show that Texas has nearly 10 times the population of Arkansas. Perhaps that helps to explain some of the difference in "activity".

I thought our forums were really active compared to other places. Maybe not the Texas forums, but really eccie is a Texas site to be honest. the majority of the country has never heard of eccie much less used it.
On the rare instances when I heve traveled to what should be a hobby rich environment, I have found that to be true. Sadly, including a place I vacation nearly every year. The action there is on a hodge podge of sites. I made it work once but it was WAY more trouble than here.

5 to 10 years ago there was a lot more activity and participation on the AR board than there is now.
