I second that! There cell service is the worst I have seen. I hate talking to people with ATT they drop calls, out of service, always BS with them...

I hate AT&T with a passion. Their coverage sucks and customer service is worse. They are scum....... Originally Posted by RickForFun

I've never had any negative experiences with them. They have always been knowlegable and helpful.
I've never had a problem with my data cap...
I'm moving into a new place in like a week and they have already installed service outlets while my apartment complex is still getting it ready for my move in.
San Antonio AT&T has its Shit together.
Sorry about everyone's negative experiences. Just remember to not cuss at your customer service representative and keep asking for supervisers and maybe start crying. You can get anything...
xoxoxoxo
Have a heavenly day!

AG has shown a new angle . . . start crying . . . That is about the only thing I have not tried. Thanks for sharing!
in all fairness, it will depend on you neighborhood. In Houston there are some areas where Uverse is better thant Comcast, and other areas, vise versa. Sometimes both suck, sometimes both are great.

my only bitch about Comcast is their price goes up 2-3 bucks every 3-4 months it seems and we lose channels. What I am thinking about doing is dumping Comcast for the TV, keeping the cable modem, and ordering Uverse package and dual homing my network at the house (nerd speak for having 2 down and up links combined)

Oh look cap and trade coming to fuck up my life.

And dang it, you have to post what the link says so when they remove it (like they have done) we can still read it.

This affects me super directly. I'm calling to find out what's what. This sucks monkey balls.
Here is the reply when I tried to check usage:

The U-verse data measurement report is currently under construction. When completed, you will be notified if your usage exceeds the allowance. Until that time, U-verse customers should not be concerned about their usage patterns for billing purposes.

To learn more about how to manage your usage, please visit
www.att.com/internet-usage

Is this saying we don't need to worry about our usage till they figure how to measure and bill you, or, is it saying to bury my head in the sand until the bill arrives?

Well here is what is says now

We're sorry. The service you selected is not available in your area. Please try again with a different state or location and/or service, if applicable.
Funny, it is was available yesterday

I called them yesterday and today and the answer I got was....

If you already have service that is unlimited, your service will not change. They are just not offering unlimited data anymore. You literally can't get unlimited service plans for cell phones anymore. Well at least AT&T.

Phew, I was scared. That would have really screwed with us.

I have had several conversations with AT&T on my cellphone service, and they have all warned me to never loose my unlimited data plan, cause I will be sorry. They have had caps in place there for a year or two I think.

It runs on the Sprint network better than Sprint does and they have a KILLER Android phone called the LG Optimus V for only $200. After 6 long years, I dumped AT&T for Virgin 3 months ago and never looked back. I am only TOO happy to pay my $25/month cell bill! You can buy online at www.virginmobileusa.com or at any Boost Mobile store. (No, I have no personal motive for endorsing them, I just LOVE the service, device, and price, and think the major carriers are major ripoffs!)
