The Euro is only about $1.20. So it's a pretty close and an easy conversion. 50€ is $60.

For most low-priced stuff you can think of euros and dollars as almost the same. A kabob is 5€ or $6. That beer is 4€ or $4.80. The train ticket is 1.75€ or $2.05. Not a big deal. Sure, when you are talking hundreds of euros it makes a difference, but only a small amount.

Great information. I've always wanted to visit Germany, and this only makes me want to go more. Out of curiosity, how many people there speak English/are they very welcoming to American tourists? I've been to other parts of Europe, some of which were very nice to American visitors (Ireland/UK) and some were not so much (France).

Nearly everyone in Germany speaks English. Seriously, when you ask someone if they speak English they look at you like you are an idiot.

The big name FKKs (Artemis, Oase, Sharks) require that their girls speak English, so even the Romanian and Polish and Hungarian girls can talk with you. In the smaller brothels you will run into some immigrant hookers who don't speak English, but all Germans will.
