Accommodation Question/Curiosity

I think I might sublet my house to a trustworthy provider while I'm at work. "Use it from 8-4, leave a 50 on the pillow" kind of thing😀 Originally Posted by caferacer

I have used AirBnB a few times touring .... usually do hotels but i'd personally use AirBnB in the future (but again not a frequent habit of fine). I don't use small hotels and I don't like hotels where you can just drive up and walk straight into the room either, I use/prefer big hotels with multiple entrances.
I carefully scope out where I choose use Airbnb. I treat it just like I would do a hotel...super low-volume and never spend more than 2 days in the same location.
I've personally had no issues using AirBnb/Vrbo/Homeaway rentals as I also use it for civvie travel (i'm aware of horror stories with some renters using cameras (i've avoided that)).

I really, really hate going to hotels to hobby. Ambiance is important to me, sue me. Have any providers, local or otherwise, tried using airbnb? I know there are inherent risks, but I think moving around different places would actually be good for anonymity. What am I missing? Originally Posted by blueandgreen

I was genuinely curious. I appreciate the feedback. I'm not complaining about providers choice of venue so much as a curiosity as to why they don't utilize a secondary service. Also: airbnb's own policy on surveillance contradicts your claims a bit. Hosts would be at legal risk for the lack of disclosure so it would behoove them not to reveal any illegally obtained video. The vast majority disclose their proximity to the listing (if they are neighbors or live nearby); in fact, a lot of the listings any more are owned by individuals who own or rent a number of apartments/houses specifically for airbnb.

Regardless, I've clearly hit some buttons for people, which was not my intent. I feel like a lot of words have been implied from my query that were not my original intent. This isn't something with which I have a lot of experience so I was mostly just curious. My question has now been addressed. I'm bowing out. Originally Posted by blueandgreen

I in fact read the comments of everyone in this thread prior to my first posting.
I also respected you enough to not post in immediate reaction after reading your response given you are a newer member. A restraint learned during my time as a hooker.
I did not make any claim I made this comment/statement based on your reactions to UC.
"Your comments to UC are uncalled for and lack in tack, class and knowledge. "
A comment/statement I stand behind with no problem I own what I post right or wrong.

This is actually what UC had said.

b&g,

The folks I know that rent their places out hit the reject button if full data is not provided.
And I have seen the paperwork when owners do get upset and toss folks.
It's all rw data.

I suggest you let the professional gals arrange for their own incalls.
99% all have access to whatever info they need to select a safe place.

If you are not trusting the gal you ask for a date, nor trusting her to pick a safe place, either you're not screening appropriately from a guys point of view, or you're not going to have fun regardless cause of your paranoia. Originally Posted by Unique_Carpenter

People are reading what you post nothing is being twisted or implied by anyone other then you. To ask a question would mean you are open to both sides and it doesn't seem you are.

Again being mindful to you being a newbie my response to your attempt to publicly correct me.
Is first I am not the provider that said anything about cameras at all.
That was Dallas a lady I am flattered to be credited with her post and I am sure several gentlemen would volunteer to take punishment for your mistake from. I personally do not take credit for what I've not actually done when I am asked or as here it is public and I can post a correction.

This is my comment again I own it. It is based on fact and I did provide direction on how to find it everything I stated can be google searched.
Please do go to the site and search "prostitution" or google airbnb and prostitution.

You will see what you are missing.
You will also see UC is as always offering help to new gentlemen and providers who read this.

Long time touring ladies told me when I started to always know the risks before taking them.
A few are
Asset forfeiture
Seizing property - houses, condos, vehicles
For the truckers - they run the risk of impoundment
Charges of running a house of prostitution for the property owner of location.
Ladies who share hotel rooms run risks.

Sorry for me airbnb is not worth the risk to myself or the gentlemen.
Most of all I have no right to risk the life or property of the unsuspecting host on sites such as Airbnb. IMO Originally Posted by Crystal West

As you can see Mocha who is another long time provider I have the highest respect for uses airbnb and she has been willing to share how to chose a location with me in the past. I attempted to see a couple of gentlemen at a friends airbnb location a few years ago in another state and much larger city who where not comfortable with it.

Again cut and dried not one way is right for every provider nor is it right in every city. There is a difference in local vs touring ladies as well.
There is a great deal of knowledge here on ECCIE and people to help with advice. If you leave your feelings and take this site as it's intended entertainment you'll have fun. It is what you make it.

My opinion again

Discretion, safety and being comfortable are priority one when picking an incall....so if airBnB works for you, then do it..if hotels work, then do it.....just do what ya gotta do to make playtime fun and comfortable for you AND your gent!
(No right or wrong in this area)

When I pick a hotel. I try to pick bigger hotels or busier hotels so people arent as nosey with one or two gents coming....and if possible outside rooms.... I also let the gent know the hotel layout when he arrives so he doesnt stand out when entering hotel..a few gents know my real name so if they have issues they can just say they are going to see their girlfriend or sister "mrs betty boop".....and there are a few hotels I use where I leave a room key in my gas tank and some of my regular gents can come in the hotel side door discretely

I used to live in Phoenix..they would seize your house and car if you were busted for prostitution

So when I am at my private base incall I am more selective on who I see......alot of times I tell the gent an address of a vacant house a block away. .. I can see it from my front window..then when he gets there I text him real address.
Gotta be careful for myself AND my gents!

I'm going to add another comment that comes out of a situation I saw just a bit ago.

AirBnb and the like "landlords" are not professional landlords. Nor are they hotel operators.
Services are zero. They are prone to check in. If there's a maintenance issue, not going to get fixed. If neighbors get hacked off at a party, or noise, or anything they think detrimental, the fun hits the fan.

Where I was, a few doors down, it hit the fan, was highly entertaining, and I thought of this thread (and another on the national board), and just had to pour a whiskey and smile.

I get my winter spots through whichever local real estate outfit takes care of that type of stuff in their local town (owner hires a professional local real estate outfit to take care of that). ie, professional hired landlord, maintenance on call, they know how to screen, zero issues, and, no homeowner sticking their noses into whatever.

Just had to share. I'm still smiling.
Not sure what they have for options in the area, but google KinkBNB and you might find that more sex positive environment you might be looking for.

It's at least worth looking into.
