The quote allegedly made by Obama was reported by John Lott in his book "At the Brink". No corroboration. And let's just say John Lott is not the most unbiased person on this planet. So I tend to not believe it.Semantics....
I am not sure exactly what Feinstein is getting at with her statement. It is NOT a proposal to ban guns. I would agree with you or anyone else that if any politician would support a total ban on guns it would be her. But she has at no time during her tenure in the House proposed legislation asking for a total ban on guns. BTW, I wish Feinstein would just go away.
And as for the statement from Rahm Emanuel, I could not find the context in which it was stated, but it is also NOT a proposal to ban ALL guns. I have no idea what an "entirely new class of guns" is.

Odumbo is the demonstrable liar. https://www.cnsnews.com/blog/gregory...-people-shouldJose Ceda's remark is Exhibit "A" for reasons gun owners refrain from "negotiation" with anti-gunners. Even when an agreement is reached and signed, anti-gunners always seek to "redefine" the meaning of the text at later dates.

And as for the statement from Rahm Emanuel, I could not find the context in which it was stated, but it is also NOT a proposal to ban ALL guns. Yeah, it is, but wrongly attributed to Emanuel. It was actually a Clinton policy adviser, Jose Cerda, who sought through the "Gun Control Act’s oft-abused 'sporting purpose' test to prohibit the importation of 58 types of rifles". I have no idea what an "entirely new class of guns" is. Originally Posted by SpeedRacerXXX

The point is that there are politicians who want to do so.
And I actually cannot find a reliable quote on Obama saying that so I need to retracthe that. Originally Posted by grean

One need only look at the anti-gun crowd's mock outrage that an 18-year old can buy a rifle when he can't even buy a beer. Yet, it is this same crowd that raised the legal drinking age from 18 to 21 who are now pretending such an idea was carved in stone in the age of Moses -- when they are the deceitful culprits who perpetrated that change. "I take Dianne Feinstein at her word when she says that if she had 51 votes in the Senate for 'Mr. and Ms. America, turn in all of your guns,' they would do it," Cox told host Chris Wallace Oct. 8.
Cox is off target, because he said Feinstein said she wanted to take away all guns. In reality, back in 1995, Feinstein said she wanted to take away all assault rifles.
Yes, I read the quote from John Lott. He has little to no credibility to me so if you want to believe him, go for it. But I hardly stand alone in my opinion of him. Whereas I KNOW Odumbo is a fucking lib-retard liar, speedy; so, Lott is infinitely more honest than Odumbo. Originally Posted by SpeedRacerXXX
