A couple of buddies of mine have had recurring problems with them for years. On one late night trip to the ER, he said even the morphine didn't help much. Now THATS pain.

I was told about a decade ago that it was the worst pain I could ever experience... damn that was wrong! I had a procedure done about 7 years ago that made me forget about kidney stones! That MFer HURT!

But either way, please drink a lot of water!

Avoid ice tea and even regular tea, it is known to cause kidney stones. Something called oxalate bothers some people.

I did catch the first stone and my doctor said that I was just someone that will have kidney stones for the rest of my life. The stone was amber colored and hurt like hell and was the worst one out of the 4 I've had.

I had a friend some years ago who would get kidney stones every few months, he suffered a lot but never took anything for the pain, he was tough as hell. Once the stone passed, he would just look up and say 'all better now' and carry on as if nothing happened.

I hate it for you that you will have to deal with this the rest of your life. I would only wish those upon my worse enemy.

Yeah I did research it... turns out they still happen! Little fuckers....

I guess I should not complain too much because I did have pains worse than kidney stones... I had MRSA almost 10 years ago and to get relief, the doctors had to drain my body of "eccess fuilds", turns out those 'fluids' were in my nose and that damn sure hurt worse than kidney stones! The doctor had to drain me of 'excess fluids' and I damn near died because off whole procedure. I had to have adrenaline shots to keep my heart from stopping.

Kidney stones hurt like hell but they aren't the worst pains I ever felt.

RL, I fell your pain . Had one 6 weeks ago , had to get lithotripsy because it was too big to pass. No more cokes for me.
