Actually, use of the

(lower case) w consonant (and various other words in the dictionary) and the apparent instance in how the word(s) are applied in a convo

helps many thoughtful persons figure out the intent and the attitude of the user.

And help the reader/listener make essential determinations.

But it has the same effect--the ruling was made so RTMs about it are unlikely to do anything except annoy the mods.

An ancient, honest word of very great heritage. It happens to be a word of endearment with one of my lovely friends. Too bad is has sunken to a lowly place in our lexicon.
