Why didn’t Ginsburg and/or Breyer retire sooner so that Obama could appoint their replacements?

let's look forward to 2020. this time, Trump should have the full support of the RNC and all Republicans, unlike 2016. He won despite lackluster support. Kasich didn't help one bit and yet Trump took Ohio.

He should run unopposed for the nomination. oh some hothead like Cruz might try to run, but he'll get nowhere. Rubio? bahhahahahaha!!!!

as i recall, no one dared run against Obama in the 2012 cycle. not even Hillary. Obama was smart to make her Sec. of State. what's that old saying? "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer".

If the Republican party does not put their full unfettered might behind Trump's re-election bid in 2020, then they risk losing the White House to a Democrat. that should be unthinkable to the RNC. Originally Posted by The_Waco_Kid

running against a sitting president, a same thing happened with george w bush in his run for 2nd term. no serious player opposed him except for this 1 nobody who ran against him in all 50 states.

Bush didn't bother to debate him. that's how much of a nobody he was.

Figure how cases in front of the SCOTUS would have turned out with Hillary nominees. Cases take years to advance and they plan it out. They didn't expect G Bush to win in 2000. So they lost the DC gun ban case.
