Well, I haven't mentioned that for a reason; I don't know the race of the POLICE officers or if it makes a difference. I am more concerned about the police shooting a person out of hand because they had a gun in their hand which is legal in many states. Except for their race either of these men could be me.

One story is starting to change. Police said that Emantic was brandishing a gun... now they're admitting he may not have been.

It's easy to joke about, but the security guard's actions saved lives. Police cannot be everywhere.

I'm almost certain the police over reacted in that case.
However, if the police come and they see some who isn't a cop with a gun pointed at someone, it can be a situation.

As to the mall shooting, its very tragic. I'm not certain what the circumstances were but you need to not have a gun in your hands when the police get there.


Training and protocols might be considered to prevent future mistakes.
