The affidavit clearly spelled out the circumstances.

In any event, it was his place. He could of called the cops and had her removed. There was 0 merit in the use of deadly force.

From what I'm reading, you are interpreting this situation as if he was the person that was without leverage at the bargaining table when in fact it is the other away around since by context hadn't received her allocation.
