As far as I can deduce from your posts, you are probably a young or barely middle-age person who has never held any job of significance or made enough money to really impact your lifestyle. If you ever made more than $40K per year, you would be bitching about how much money the government is taking out of your paycheck. I have seen this situation several times before. My ex-sister-in-laws came from a very wealthy family. They were afforded a lifestyle in their early years (pre-teens) that few average Americans will ever see. They attended liberal colleges (Boston U.) and went on to spew liberal thoughts after graduating from college. They continued earning relatively little knowing their parents would bail them out. However, their views changed somewhat after they began making good money. One of the sisters became a lawyer and one worked on films. After a while, they began complaining that they worked hard and took home less than what they thought because of the taxes that were being taken out of their pay. Neither could understand why they had to pay so much in taxes.

Let's get the "facts" correct. Coporations do not pay taxes they collect taxes for the government. Every item sold has the taxes owed to the government included in the price YOU AND I pay for that item. Individuals who own their own business (not in a corporate setting)also factor in the taxes assoicated with the income they want to make into the price of the goods or services they provide. Corporations also are owned by a collection of individuals, retirement plans and institutional investors. every one please welcome our saviour who is going to deliver us from all capitalist evil. He is here to save the country from 200 years of successful capitalism by taxing the rich to give to the poor. I have many friends and business associates that span the political spectrum. While many times we disagree on social issues (which i will not list) we find that when it comes to financial issues we often agree more with each other then not. I do not insult them just because I disagree with them. I like to show them the numbers on who pays for this great country to continue and who is just sucking at the tit. My fondest reality check for one of my most liberal friends was when ther daughter got accepted to an ivy league school with a 4 year scholorship attached. Being that they did not want to interfer with thier adult daugther's life they did not feel it was thier responisibilty to make sure she got all of her paperwork done. Well thier daughter slacked off on the application and did not turn it in until the day after the deadline. She was mortified that the university would not accept her late application and when informed that the scholorship was no longer available she could not understand why they would not extende the deadline for her. She was given everything she wanted as she was growing with my friends sacrificing thier financial future for hers. Well it has reallly paid off. She is a waitrees at a shitty restuarant and lives with 2 other people in a crappy apt. Her parents have cut her off financially and have realized that all they were lead to belive about raising thier child was BS. Now do not think i am picking on a liberal only I have 2 sets of Conservitive friends who have blown hundreds of thousabds of dolloars spoiling thier children only to have it blow back in thier faces also. Ironically he does (did) not realize that many members on this forum are in that category. What he is failing to realize is that not only many of us who retired honorably from the service are here, but we have also gone on to a variety of post-service careers.. It really doesn't matter whether we have any political party associations or not and I take that comment as a very personal affront that he said what he said. Mocking the entitlements by law anyone is receiving just portrays a jealousy and laziness to work hard and earn what could rightfully be yours.

Miight I also offer the job employment ratings that were promised by someone during his campaigns have in reality actually gotten far worse than many would have ever dreamed. Some of their dreams are lost forever as they "sit in" the various offices across this Great Land.

I shan't go any further because he is not around right not to even attampt to defend his worthless self.

I would love to have been given the opportunity to ask him to go to the VA hospital and say the above directly to the veterans who are there getting medical help for injuries sustained while in the service. How much do you want to bet he would be the next emergency room patient if he had the balls to do so.

I can argue back and forth with someone like him all day and I really don't give a shit. I do it just to get them going. But when they cross the line and attack veterans I come apart. My grandfather served, my father served and I served. I lost a few friends in Iraq (I personally did not go but my friends did) and had many friends lose their parents during Vietnam.
