Amp owners are pretty creative so I won't be surprised if they find a loophole. Maybe stock some twinkies in the front and call themselves a convenience store and an essential business.

What "shutdown order"?

On what authority does a Mayor, a City Council, a County Judge, or a County Commissioners Court have the "power" to close private businesses? Originally Posted by LexusLover

Shutdown? Reading comprehension was never LapPup's strong suit!

What is the crime? And what is the punishment?

I'll ask again! Where is the authority for The Governor to shut down private businesses?

Ignorance is a choice, junior. I urge you to get out there and shake some hands, mingle with your people, enhance your social life.

I'm sure that defense will work well when the sheriffs and constables start enforcing this. Nevermind the lack of proper licensing these places have. They are running on borrowed time. The government could convict a ham sandwich if they wanted to.

I seriously doubt LE has the extra resources available to go be checking on every salon or amp in Houston.
