Good point on "A." That's a gift to the plaintiff's bar. Social media will have to censor what its contributors post or potentially get sued. That's not exactly an abridgement of freedom of speech and freedom of the press, but it's damn close.

"B" is a tougher call. I've got ancestors buried in a small cemetery in Texas who fought for the Confederacy. My grandfather, who probably heard about it from his grandfather, used to rail against Sherman's march through Georgia, and northern domination of the south after the war. However, this is the year 2020. If you're black, how would you feel having government installations named after Confederate heroes. It's time to put this chapter behind us.
