You are embarrassing yourself. Go to the political forum and start a thread there if that is what you are interested in. You keep replying and trying to turn this into a political thread. It is your 3rd consecutive post. Originally Posted by VitaMan

But actually trying to get this thread back on topic after you hijacked your own thread, Have you ever been to a soccer match in someplace like Liverpool? They put your so called Trump supporters to shame in the rudeness/violence department

When you mention people ragging on a political candidate and/or their supporters/opposition, you are making something political to a degree. You're trying to compare narratives between sports and politics. How individuals are treated in comparison to other aspects in life. Politics being the aspect.

Anyways, yes. I love Bill Burrs take on athletes beating the shit out of fans. There is trash talking and to me that's just fine. Then there's this shit. Where people feel they can go out of their way and actually do something physical to someone else because they're offended or angry in some way.

I'm fine with seeing an ass whooping in a sports event. Just don't want it to fuck up the game that's all. It shouldn't happen to begin with since it can cause ejections or suspensions. Glad these "fans" are getting banned, but hopefully there's a bit more. You want to further disincentivize it and taking a chunk out of their wallets might do that. NBA vs fan, as you don't want players tied up in court (unless it's really violent and assault charges are made).

The discussion is to be about unruly behavior of sports fans, whether it makes sense and acceptable, or getting out of hand. Officials and sports teams have been grappling about this issue. Originally Posted by VitaMan

I quit going years ago: think of the money I have saved, and the headaches.

If so, I agree with you completely, I fully support assault charges being filed and sincerely hope the guy does at least some jail time to send the message to other would be assaulters. Just like this idiot
