I don't consider being pro civil rights a strictly Dem position either both sides want to limit some rights.

Dems controlling the Senate could mean lots of judicial appointments if they can work together, which thankfully is doubtful. 2 more years of dysfunction is the best anyone not an entrenched liberal could possibly hope for right now. As far as I can tell it's against the rules to call members names, but it's not against the rules to call random voters or voting bases names.
