carters time bout up

Not a great President.
But a good moral man.
For this site, gotta like a guy who admits lust in his heart.

It's touching to see people with different viewpoints admire the guy here.

Returning the canal was a way USA stopped treating Panama as a Banana Republic. Originally Posted by Precious_b

Carter was too moral to be a good president but he is a good man. unlikely any of these passengers (Carter could easily take a private plane as his net worth is a reported 10 million) will ever get to greet a former president like this if they live to be 98.

Carter could easily be worth 100 million today if he wanted to be.

There is plenty to say about President Carter's time in office, but all negatives are dwarfed by the way he coached Sadat and Begen into signing s peace treaty that still stands today.

Of any of our presidentts in the post WW-II period, Carter alone is one man I would want ass a neighbor down the street or on the school board or PTA.

Remember how Reagan and Carter treated each other during the 80 campaign? With respect.

Dont know if we'll ever see that again

He simply told the truth. Nobody would blink an eye today.

Loved hearing Amy Carter telling about that time and her interactions with the people.

WD started the thread. Who will take his place ?
... Sleepy Joe has already told America that Cater
asked HIM to read his Eulogy when he dies.

I can surely almost hear it now...

"Here lies Jimmy Carter - a much better President than me..."
