My favorite personal weapon is my dick.truer words were never spoken sir..
When someone pulls a gun on me, I whip it out, and show it to them.
When the gun toter sees the size of my member, they drop their weapon and run away, crying like a little schoolgirl.
The moral of this story?

A cousin has that now, it's a collector's item.
A few decades ago I collected wolf bounties with that at more than two football fields up in that northern frozen country.
My personal carry is a Colt 45ACP 1911A1
Yeah it's getting to be a museum piece. But I have a handful of fat clips and when I practice the rest of the line usually goes quiet.
Nobody is allowed to touch it, especially Glock owners. Btw, the trigger assembly on Glocks suck.
To stop ECG from asking about trying the 1911, I bought her a matched pair of Colt 38 Specials (Model 10) with custom handle grips, about a week after a couple of the KC gals took her shopping for cowgirl outfits cause she wanted to go along to horse shows (and keep me out of trouble). BTW, same that my ex has which hacked off the ex. ECG has good target scores.
The 1911 is locked up. The 38s we keep in the nightstands on each side of the bed. Originally Posted by Unique_Carpenter

No longer legal in some states unless previously owned. Originally Posted by Unique_Carpenter

But they do make extended mags for single stack 1911's
will stick to my Stoeger STR 9C with factory 20 round mags.
Canik's usually come with 18 round mags.
One can NEVER have too many rounds available to them if you get into a fight. Really good aim and shot placement saves you ammo Originally Posted by GhostRiderYYZ

lemme guess:
1. you think 2000 rpm is too low. (that's my guess.) i like lower speeds cause they're less mayhem-y and less likely to damage your axe blade. but yup,if ur in a rush, crank up the rpms and hope for the best! do not skip on safety gear! 6000 might be fun; not for me, but try it and let us know how it goes!
i recommend that the axe or blade be well clamped down or viced, especially at higher rpms, or things can get real interesting real quickly.
2. 2000 rpm is too high. (maybe so, but it worked fine for me, with a healthy amount of water. i'm sure lower rpms are entirely doable tho.)
3. you don't know what a grinder is.
4. you didn't know that a grinder could be variable speed.
5. you don't know what a grindstone is.
6. you had a bad day at the office.
7. you don't like me for whatever reason, and you finally have a chance to show me up..
btw, you're fine by me. i'm not interested in a pissing contest. but legit, what's wrong with my statement? i am admittedly no expert, but i do enjoy watching forged in fire on snap. i am not a forger, but it looks fun to me. i wonder if my hoa would mind if i built a forge on my patio. i'd luv to scare the fuk outta those faggots by forging every manner of weapon, for defensive purposes only of course..
this article has some pretty good tips. it suggests not to use high rpms cause it can mess with the temper. i concur with slow and steady. also, there are many ways to skin a cat, as the article points out: a file, sandpaper, a sharpening blade instead of a grindstone, etc. if you prefer a different method, what is your rec? maybe i'll try it out.
