Put the donation in plain site as you arrive on a table and the provider should not touch it either until you leave after your session.

The biggest gifts/tips you can give a provider are referrals to other hobbyists and repeat visits in the future.

I've never used an envelope. If you worked at a specific location on a job, wouldn't it look weird as hell if you saw some dude walking around with a big ass envelope in his hand and sweating profusely? I always keep it in my pocket until I meet the woman.
