So what? Pittsburgh sports have been disappointing across the board lately. You’re a fan of sports or not. IMHO, the Steelers and the Pens have been more disappointing the last few years. The Pirates were tanking on purpose. I realized it. The Steelers and Pens think they’re championship contenders. But in reality, they’re pretenders.

The Steelers and Penguins are languishing in mediocrity. The Pens less so. They need to rebuild. But I’ll admit the Pirates should be further along. They accumulated pitching talent but not much on the offense side. They could trade some of the arm talent for some bats.

A bad loss in extra innings. This is the Marlins. Their payroll is 42 million. Half of the Pirates payroll. I mean, how is that possible? Nutting doesn’t know shit about baseball, but he’s paying Cherrington to draft and develop players. What a disaster.
