Wouldn’t you think that if ICE was raiding amps in KC the media would get wind of it and report it? I’ve searched everywhere but don’t find any news of this incident. I still don't think ICE cares that much about the activities that go on in the AMPs. That's the job of the vice unit.

They target the AMPs for the same reason they target meat packing plants or construction workers - those are the industries where people here illegally tend to find employment.

The OP's point about ICE targeting the AMPs and how those of us who frequent these establishments need to be careful is a valid one. ICE is targeting the AMPs, as are other federal, state, and local agencies. If it can happen in smaller cities like Baton Rouge, it can happen here as well.
