We have no idea if these two had a sexual relationship. There were three people in the house until one of the roommates moved out. A co-worker of mine who's a Millenial used to have gay and transgender roommates, who lived together in a big house, and she's 100% hetero.
A buddy of mine, who's always voted for Trump even though he hesitated after January 6, said he wished the Republican Party weren't so anti gay and transgender. While transgenders are a tiny percentage of the population, for many Millenials acceptance of the LGBTQ community is an important issue, and Republicans are chasing those voters away. Well, IF this were part of the reason that Robinson did what he did, maybe you can say the anti gay/transgender thing not only drives some young people into the hands of the Democratic Party, it also radicalizes a few.
One takeaway is that obsession with gaming and more generally the internet fucked up Robinson's life. He appeared to be a good student, destined for a good life, until he became an obsessive gamer. Maybe that's partly responsible.
Was he a Nick Fuentes admirer? Probably not but I guess it's possible. It's interesting that he and a relative were discussing politics and both agreed that Charlie Kirk sucked. Based on reports about the family, you'd think the relative was right of center. Maybe they agreed about Kirk for different reasons. Or, since they probably were or had been members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, maybe one or both disliked him because of his criticism of the theological and historical basis of Mormonism.
If Robinson is a far right Groyper or a transgender lover, does it really matter? Remember the Oklahoma City bombing, 168 dead. Why did Timothy McVeigh do it? Well, many believe he was radicalized by the siege by the Feds in Waco, which resulted in many senseless deaths. Many of us, regardless of political persuasion, condemn what law enforcement did at Waco. But we sure as hell don't believe it merited McVeigh bombing the federal building. Likewise, there's no sense on pinning this on the far right or the far left or transgenders. This is just a senseless tragedy.
