As I predicted elsewhere, the "No Kings" protests were overwhelmingly peaceful.

And to say that these people "don't know what they are protesting" is just lame. They know damn well.

It is sad that so many were willing to denigrate and insult people who were exercising a Constitutional right. Peacefully. Which they are allowed to do. Even if it pisses people off. Or enrages a wannabe King or three.

Protests have served key roles in creating and shaping this nation. Dismissing them so casually is a special form of disrespect. One that is typical of the times, sadly.

But that was predictable too. MAGA thrives on disrespect.

For those who hope that there are no more "No Kings" protests: be patient! That day may very well come. People are actively working to take rights like those away. Sorry if a few others get lumped in with them. No worries. It does not seem that they will be missed by many!
