If he wants to make a claim with the Justice department for compensation it must be adjudicated by the next administration. Or possibly by congress. It’s too much of a conflict of interest otherwise.

You are familiar with the phrase: out of court settlement. AmmIrite? While not a lawyer, I suspect that is often preferred to courting, especially given the AutoPen regime having completely corrupted the DOJ, courts and the government writ large. Not so sure they would want all that dirty laundry flapping about in the breeze.
