Hey Lexxxi, yep, I have missed Oyster Bake the last 4 years so I am making it a priority this year! I remember being in college and sneaking in on Friday afternoon and pretending to be volunteering just to get in for free. We used to also be stupid and go up and down the slide on the days before but always got kicked off by campus police. Oh the good ole days!

I must say I've never been to oyster bake in all my years here. I'm sure they have more than just oysters, but never wanted to go. Don't like oysters. I think someone needs to start a fiesta booby bake or boobyfest tradition. Then I wouldn't have a reason not to go.

@tallgeese hun u sooooooo need to go this yr but after 8pm it gets kinda wild[[on sat]].. i used to stay all night but these past 2yrs i have been leaving a little early and avoiding the crowds.. I guess the highlight of Oyster bake is of course the Oysters but the shooters are tastier and cleaner the ones still served in the shell .. i dont like oysters except for baked . broiled or fried ones, Damn i miss New Orleans.. =[ womp womp waaah but u gotta come at least once ..hehe!! .. The other Popular tasty treat would be Chicken on the Stick.. OMG!!! its so good and everyones fav item as well! Hahaha boobybake ... u can find that at my Place its DDD'lish =] jk .. but no on a serious note try some of the events on a not so busy day.. like fri oysterbake or sat till 7pm and sunday Taste of New Orleans and niosa fri ...
