Many of the WNY providers have nothing to gain by contributing except being a target from some rude men and other providers. The exposure backfires and creates headaches as well as lost revenue for these women. Just ask them in person, they'll tell you about it... especially the behind the scenes drama. I understand what you mean by becoming a target. There are rude people everywhere. I think where it counts is how you react to the childish antics. If you can't respond to people in a manner that you feel will keep your "persona" in tact, it's best to ignore them. Personally, I could care less about something I've written on the boards effecting my revenue in a NEGATIVE way, and there's no way I'm going to let a few "keyboard thugs" scare me out of participating in this community (or ANY community for that matter). Exposure does not have to be negative. You are in total control of what that exposure reveals.
