Texas Ranks Dead Last in ...............

I personally would not go to any other state for my healthcare. MD Anderson Cancer Center saved my life and without them I would be dead. I could not have gotten the treatment I had to have any place other than Frankfurt Germany. I am a walking miracle thanks to MD Anderson and a drug company that continued to search for a cure.

I met people from all around the world at MDACC.

By the way, I was watching ABC 13 news the other night and they were talking about a national rating system for hospitals (some do not participate in it), and that the rating system was based on error of hospitals and their affiliated facilities. Errors meaning, messing up in the operating room during a procedure, nurses giving patients the wrong medication etc. I believe Texas was right up there with some of the worst rated.

I think we should deincentivise (sp) emigrating to the US. If you are not here legally and paying taxes, no bennies period. The really insane thing we do for illegals is making their children citizens, because they're born on American soil. There's no way the fourteenth amendement was intended to be used like that.
