I personally would not go to any other state for my healthcare. MD Anderson Cancer Center saved my life and without them I would be dead. I could not have gotten the treatment I had to have any place other than Frankfurt Germany. I am a walking miracle thanks to MD Anderson and a drug company that continued to search for a cure.
I met people from all around the world at MDACC.

Sorry to hear that you went through all of that with Cancer. However it sounds like you had access to some really good level of care which most Americans do not. If you have good insurance or even money you can get the very best in care.
By the way, I was watching ABC 13 news the other night and they were talking about a national rating system for hospitals (some do not participate in it), and that the rating system was based on error of hospitals and their affiliated facilities. Errors meaning, messing up in the operating room during a procedure, nurses giving patients the wrong medication etc. I believe Texas was right up there with some of the worst rated.
