Gifts: do you give them, guys?

Yes I do give gifts if the lady and I click, have given the usual things, wine, flowers,candy and have given diamond jewelery to certain ATF's.

Everyone appreciates a gift and providers are no different. I think women (and providers are women) are particularly aware of the thoughtfulness that goes into a gift and the beauty of the hobby is that they can promptly reciprocate in a manner that pays back a thousand fold. My experience is that the gift need not be expensive; it just has to be thoughtful. Even gag gifts can work wonders.

One of my favorite gifts was a business card case with a very clever cover that I gave to a retiring provider. Her smile and laughter were rewards enough but she then gave me a farewell treat that still is vivid in my memory.

But will I buy a lady an expensive handbag or the like that appear of those gift lists? Probably not.

I used to give gifts quite often to special ladies who provided excellent service.

However, with time it became evident to me that these gifts were misunderstood and often not even appreciated.

These gestures have a way of backfiring and ruining an otherwise good relationship.

Sometimes girls would tell me about how pathetic some guys were when they gave them gifts.

It's like the value of the guy goes down in the eyes of the girl.

It is pathetic if guys give gifts thinking that it will somehow "win" the favor of the escort. The idea is to make a nice gesture without complications.

The problem is that these girls do not really know the intentions of the gift giver, but after being harden by the rigors of their work, they tend to take quite a cynical view of things.

Even good and simple things are viewed in an uncharitable light and your generosity can be misinterpreted as weakness by cynical minds.

Giving gifts to a provider or any girl is not a simple act and you should not be hasty.

You really need to consider the girl's attitude carefully and decide if it's appropriate.

Unfortunately, quite often it is not.

I don't tend to repeat too often or too much so any misinterpretation on their part means nothing because I probably won't see them again.

Also, giving a gift makes me feel good. So if they don't enjoy or appreciate it, tough.

Used to bring this ladies dog a rawhide bone everytime, he would always sit in the kitchen and wait until he got his bone.

I'd see her at her home and he was a very posessive dog before I started bringing doggie treats; he became much more accepting of me coming over once I started bribing him.

I am not a gift giver but more of a tipper so the more I visit with a lady the bigger tip I will give her. My 4-5 regualars/references get about double the tip I would give to a newbie on my first visit and my ATF always gets the biggest tip of course.

There are a lot of clients that bring gifts, from my experience at least... They are certainly not expected but always very much appreciated. I am grateful to have such great clients who spoil me

I like bringing small gifts to first meetings..it sort of helps break the ice and establishes a little communications between you and the provider because you took enough time to read about her likes.
It can be as simple as a candle, bottle of wine for the two of you to share or as easy as a gift card ...I have never brought something that I wasn't thanked rather nicely for and I love to see a little smile on the ladies face .

Yeah, for the special friend, I'll bring something for birthday, Christmas, etc.
