I've never just showed up there to watch the show, but I did have to drive a friend down to KC for a few traffic tickets and I did enjoy the time I spent sitting in the back. I almost wish I had a recording device because some of the shit that was said just made me laugh, and die a little on the inside at how stupid some people truly are.

I've never been to KCMO courts, but took someone down to KCK court a few times. Helicopter, you're right, talk about a standing-room-only crowd and a bit of a three-ring circus. People going to the judge, to talk with the PDs in the hall, those ready to go pay fines, and all those babies and tots crying, and oops, cell phones ringing when they're supposed to be silenced. I didn't mind paying for parking those times, but I wouldn't be doing it for sport.
