I assume so...I don't have any experience with that "world", so I couldn't say... They tried and tried to get me to find a partner so I could go, but I wouldn't want to take just "anyone" to that kind of thing...especially my first go round!

Most parties are 'private'- you sign up ahead of time and they decide if you are allowed to come or not. Some are extremely 'open', pretty much anyone gets in as long as they don't have a bad rep, and some are very discriminatory (no plus size women, no single men etc.) Some are couples only, and then again some are just simply meet and greets with anyone welcome, just no sex on premises.
