I can see where whispers is coming from actually. I have the same situation. I met a provider who looks NOTHING like their pics. Period. NOt even close. Has been reviewed a few times by others. They have offered peddly excuses when I bring it up. A mod was recently mentioned as being a good friend of theirs (self admission post) and I have even started a thread in the back channels weeks ago.

I haven't outed them for one because it might not be my story to tell (since I did not see BCD). The mention of being friends with a particular mod and the fact they are all about right and wrong is very amusing. If that particular individual was about right and wrong why would they let someone who is using deceitful pics continue to do so, etc...

And before some funny boy accuses me of being a lap dog, etc..... you know what you can do with that statement. I never felt compelled to post about it until I saw the comment from that lady proclaiming a mods sense of right and wrong, etc. They should have just hushed since they are benefiting from that. I have lots of people here on ECCIE that I consider friends, you among them, but if you feel that someone is not properly represented in their pics of descriptions, you should post it in the appropriate place for review and discussion. That you think accurate photos will certainly be better for business than leaving guys disappointed when they come to the door because they were expecting one thing and got another.

See how she responds. If she says she can't afford a photoshoot, suggest she use her camera phone or at the very least put up a disclaimer in all of her ads and her website that she is fatter or thinner or has a different hairdo or whatever it is that makes her look different from her photos.

Oh, and that reminds me. I know you weren't talking about me, but I actually probably need new photos. I'll try to have something posted this week. Not trying to bait and switch anyone but I must look different now cuz guys keep telling me I don't look like my photos. Sometimes we don't see ourselves accurately. All in all a thought provoking thread. Let me pose another thought. If the pictures are old and the difference is facial then it is certainly something that can be stated as fact. If it "appears" that she has put on weight or her body has changed that is a different story IMHO. Many times I have been more than surprised at the body that came out of those clothes, both pleasantly and otherwise!!

Finally, It is perfectly OK to disagree with and dislike other members points of view and style. It is also OK to intelligently present an opposing POV.Don't misunderstand, I am all for spirited debate, but not mean spirited debate. But if you so dislike what someone says on here, or you question their reason for posting a thread then why post in the thread? All it does is keep that thread on the top of the list. There are many ways to deal with this issue. You have already made your decision and taken action by posting and waiting for the 10000 hobbyist that will ask you for her name in private.
Personally, I think it was sorta cowardly & I am surprised you took this aproach. I was under the impression that you had no problem being honest & straight forward.

Providers would use back channels to imform other providers of a hobbyist. I do not know you & have never met you but I have heard and read several discussions regarding your physical appearance, among other things....

Just curious... What would you do if the lady in question looked much better in person than in her pictures?

I think the obvious answer is to mind one's own business and allow the market to work itself out. It always does. I don't consider the fact that I have them airbrushed out of my photos to be false advertising; I consider it a necessary preservation of my privacy. On the other hand, I recently had a gent who asked me why I describe myself as "curvy". I'm a size 6, but my proportions are definitely what I would consider curvaceous. I thought I was being accurate in my depiction of myself; he was expecting a fuller figured girl.

It's all subjective.

This sort of pre-purchase research is so unusual that it is worthy of discussion. It should be so common that it shouldn't be relevant, but strangely, it is, and is thread-worthy. Why is that?
