Olympian outed as escort

Anyone can be a hook...I mean escort.
And anyone can get outed.
And that chic is gross

Ya she is kind of gross haha

And her husband knows and stays with her.. what a chump
Mr Blonde's Avatar
He probably wasnt hittin it right
lovelamp's Avatar
Haha good of an explanation as any
She probably missed being banged all the time with no strings attached. It's no secret that half the fun of being an Olympic athlete happens behind closed doors at hotels. She was probably reliving the glory days! Except this time a few older guys and overweight gentlemen here and there get a shot.

Oh, yeah, she did it because she was a slut and she's gross. Of course! Her husband wasn't "hitting it right!"

Yeah, yeah, yeah... $600 an HOUR had NOTHING to do with it!

Hahahaha!

I am almost surprised at how simplistic your opinions are, of-why-she-might-have been working as an escort.

The reasons why women choose to escort are many. From the suggested reasons: monetary or sexual satisfaction, to the not-so-obvious ones, such as the need for approval or reward for good behavior (the need to prove oneself).

I have heard that Mrs. Hamilton was suffering from postpartum depression, immediately preceeding her work as an escort, and her quote in USA Today is that escort work was "exciting".

I am proud of her statement, "I am not a victim, and I knew what I was doing."

...interesting in that I hope some intelligent discussions will arise from this unfortunate 'outing' or whatever, of a 3-time Champion....

Crystal Kitty,

I agree with you 100%. I hope that you know that my comments were sarcastic and were meant to be a reflection on juvenile comments like were made.

Women have the right to do with their bodies whatever they please. If they decide to become an escort, it isn't because their husband isn't hitting it right or because they are sluts. They make the decision for many different reasons and no one can know for sure except the woman making the decision. I was proud of her statement as well.

There should not be anything shameful about these decisions and until we all honor the choices we make, we only belittle people and ourselves by calling women in the industry sluts.

From all appearances, she is a wonderful person. I hope that she gets through this okay.

STUNNING TRUTH

See Suzy Favor Hamilton's career as a three-time Olympian and a high-priced escort.

Suzy Favor Hamilton’s name demands jokes. And her story, that of an attractive married mother, three-time Olympian and motivational speaker who spent the last year “escorting” men for $600 an hour, has every metric for a big Google splash — attractive, blonde, sex, scandal, B1G, Olympian, prostitution. So, of course, Twitter was ablaze with Suzy Favor Hamilton talk almost instantaneously. What is funny is it was mostly by people who, before Thursday’s Smoking Gun story, had no idea who Suzy Favor Hamilton was.
Being a whore, um escort, gave her more fame than being an Olympian ever did.
My first thought when my bosses asked me to weigh in was this is another example of athletes struggling with handling adversity because being an athlete meant they rarely had to do so. This is BS, though. The reality is I am so sick of Suzie Favor Hamilton and her many incarnations — Bobby Petrino, Tiger Woods, Kristen Stewart. Bill Clinton, David Petraeus, Kobe and on and on. All of y'all bore me with your selfishness. It is not newsworthy to be a Dear Abby cliche — a selfish cheater willingly putting your immediate gratification ahead of your kids and families.
We have spent a whole week talking about hugging our kids more tightly, about being reminded of what really matters, of nothing being more important than family. This is so very our society right now, to focus on the once-in-a-lifetime tragedy and ignore the daily tragedies we are creating in our own lives through infidelity, through financial irresponsibility, through selfishness.
Is the Favor Hamilton scandal slightly less salacious when you realize she had a husband? A kid? It is not quite so funny when you realize the collateral damage she inflicted. I recently read a line about parenting in "Daring Greatly" by Brene Brown that struck a chord with me.

TOP SEX SCANDALS

From Mike Tyson to Tiger Woods, take a look at the biggest sex scandals in sports.

Just recently, Cowboys nose tackle Josh Brent did not call a cab. Chiefs wide receiver Jovan Belcher did not seek help for what reports say were escalating depression issues. Favor Hamilton trying to heal herself at $600 an hour.
@favorhamilton: As crazy as I know it seems, I never thought I would be exposed, therefore never hurting anybody.
@favorhamilton: I have been seeking the help of a psychologist for the past few weeks and will continue to do so after I have put things together.
@favorhamilton: I cannot emphasize enough how sorry I am to anyone I have hurt as a result of my actions and greatly appreciate the support of my family
@favorhamilton: and those closest to me. I fully intend to make amends and get back to being a good mother, wife, daughter, and friend.
I am sure she means all of it. And I hope she does.
Yet I find Favor Hamilton and her many incarnations not interesting in the least. Not only did she go pro in something other than sports, she simply became another tired cliche in a society that has far too many already.

A provider who's entire career has been based on racing against the clock and being rewarded for the fastest finish? Doesn't sound like the best of credentials to me.

From my point of view, it was totally shameful to expose her in that way. Whoever was the "hobbyst" that filtered her real identity to the media is a complete "scumbag", as she said.

While I was reading the story I thought of how many famous people out there are in this business. It will be great to know if anyone has came across a well recognized personality. Obviously, don't reveal any names!

She looks reasonably hot to me at least in some pics :-)

Too bad that d-bag had to screw her over...
Reasonably hot? Maybe I'm an ugly muffin, but to me she's scorching hot!

What really bothers me about her story are all of the "better than though" people that come out of the woodwork and make her out to be an ill-heartled whore without consideration for anyone but herself.

Whether it's her or anyone else, the first emotion I feel for them is sadness. They have to face their children and family. Many also assume she became an escort because of some deep emotional imbalance. That may be so, or perhaps she just simply enjoys the excitement and the sex.

As Ms Kitty says, the reasons are many. I give her kudos for letting her husband know what she was doing. She seems like many of us who enjoy life and want to take things to another level.

I understand we have the freedom to express ourselves; however, when people fall from grace we should offer support or shut our mouths.

WOW Cactus fruit. I think I love you. well said darling. It seems, everyone kicks em when they're down. I think she is lovely and sexy. Her treatment is abhorrent and sad.
AcesHigh's Avatar
I agree, Sue Nami. And how is it that members of our own community kick people while they are down? The guy who outted her should be ashamed of himself! Any time that a woman engages in work as an escort there is a risk of being outted. However, for her erstwhile partner to out her is really unbelievably poor judgment.
