McIntosh apples?????

Ok, so I was able to get over to the Central Market and found my Macintosh apples! Unfortunately, these are not the kind of macintosh apples that I prefer. They almost tasted like galas. I do not like these apples, lol

I do not thin it has anything to do with the time of year as I was always able to get Macintosh apples up north, anytime of year, and they taste like Macintosh. I guess I will just have to stock up on them when I visit Pittsburgh again.

I am gonna let these sit out for a while and see it they ripen a bit more. Perhaps that is why they do not taste right yet.
