Texas Rangers in 2010?

Last week I remember being about the rain delay. I can't remember the last time I cared about a Ranger game in July. Good stuff.

like that avatar. miss it already.
Best pitching staff in the franchise's history -- THAT is what sets this club apart and precludes any comparisons to teams of the past. The really exciting part is that the pitching gives the not only a great chance to win the division, but to make some noise in the playoffs. It usually takes at least 2 front-line starters to go deep in the playoffs. This Rangers' staff has 4, including the best pitcher in either league (in my humble opinion). Good times.

As mentioned earlier, maybe the Cliff Lee impact can rub off. First pitch strike all the time, ahead in the count, make them hit it and depend on your "d".

Lee may give up a few homers as he throws some fly balls, but hopefully, lots of solo shots.

CJ walks no one tonight. Hopefully it rubs off.

Lee had an interview on the hardline this PM. This hombre is kinda quiet, but one competitive SOB....

You guys may have gotten the best pitcher in baseball. Lee beat the Yanks twice in the world series last year. He is cool, has amazing control, and will not back down at anytime. And, he can throw complete games. I followed him as he came up with Cleveland. He is the real deal.

Prediction: Texas has a very good team this year, but will NOT get past the Yankees, who have an even better one. Sorry!

I'm a life long Braves fan , moved there in 91' and moved away in 06' so I saw a lot of good baseball, yes I know only one world series win. But it was amazing, and now that I live in TX have been watching this Rangers team closely and as we know it starts with pitching. I think they have a really good shot at winning the division and then all it takes is a little luck to keep playing. I wish them the best and let's put this ownership BS behind us.
