I think she has paid attention to her industry and noticed that since she doesn't have a whole lot of talent(not saying she didn't work hard and sacrifice her childhood to get where she is and develope some skills) she looked at other women who were similar and still became successful and rich (Madonna & Lady Gaga) by just being "shocking" and is trying to 1 up them in her own way. Seems like it's working to since that's all anyone is talking about on the radio.

My thoughts:

1) In today's world of marketing, overhyping and overexposure rule the day. It makes Losers into Winners (or shall we say moneymakers) for short periods of time.

2) THN, you couldn't pay me to fuck her with your dick !! I find absolutely nothing sexually appealing about that chick.

Weren't ANY of you watching Breaking Bad instead of that awards show?

Anyway, I saw her video yesterday because of all of the news about it. I'm surprised no one has mentioned the whole tongue thing. I thought that over the top tongue action was positively bizarre.

Since I did think it bizarre, I'm guessing that we'll see other ladies doing all sorts of things with their tongues in future shows and programming. I'm not sure, though.

I would think that there would be a LOT of men who would think that she was hot and would adore boinking the little darling.

As far as the shocking part. Shrug. I thought it was rather crude but that's why a lot of performers are doing. She's just making her mark, so to speak. And playing around with the whole furry thing.

At the end of the day, watching her (and then Lady Gaga) just made me feel old.

And a little bit sad about the whole gyrating/entertainment and what makes for good television these days. Sometimes, I just miss the idea of Carol Burnett. Seriously. Something fun to laugh at and it's not just nasty.

I'm punchy but one more thing and then it's time for bed.

It's weird to me, completely odd, that we have all of these hyper - sexual songs and dances and *cough* twerking and yet society as a whole seems much more uptight about sex, and all that goes with it, than ever before.

It's a weird paradox and I just don't get it.
