*halestorm(for those of you that like a hott chick singing)
*sick puppies(your going down is my favorite)
*sublime( everyone loves them)
its newer rock but its sick you will allll love it .....i happen to be musically inclined so to say, so music is something I know a lot about.

I would have to agree with the rap thing, but some hip hop has a great drop beat and that's what I usually listen for.

and jack,....
you would be surprised the amount of older music i listen to. It's the classics that will never fade away......and yes the concert was awesome I just can't seem to get the permanent marker autograph off my chest lmao .....was totally worth getting dragged on stage and dancing with the lead singer though
Phish, Tool, Poe, The Cure, & Radiohead are some of my mainstream yet under-rated choices... As far as Classic goes for me at least no one beats Led Zeppelin on diversity and overall skill in that genre.

classic rock, late 60's - 70's were my all time favorites, by the way Today marks a sad day in Rock & Roll History Stevie Ray Vaughan died 20 years ago today Aug 27th 1990
I'm kinda down with Santana...also love with 70's and 80s stuff..lovin the jazz..and gotta have me a bit of soul...
too many to choose from... I started out as a HUGE Zepplin, Maiden, Sabbath fan. (old sabbath) eventually progressed into the suprtramps, genesis, peter gabriel Genre's... now am totally into country (brad paisley, keith urban, and nothing beats george strait)... somewhere along the way, i missed some explanation of how things went from rock to alternative. To me alternative was always the ramones, romantics, punks, new order etc... anythign that you used to hear on 102.1 CFNY out of Toronto.. (who on weekends played the Dr. Demento show) Pearl jam to me is NOT alternative...
Overall (hang on for this one) to me the fat man will always Rock... yes gimme my Dead and Dylan and i'm a happy happy man.. the throw in some Old school Floyd, and some of todays country and i'm good as well... the types where the artist actually know how to play instruments and its not all digitized...
