What Can't a Cop Do To Bust Someone?

Whenever approached by the MAN, besides giving the typical "name, rank n serial #" best follow this sage advice:STFU!!! Seriously! Don't buy into the bullying, intimidation, coercion and misdirection (lies). They do this for a living every day and are great at it. The rules are changing daily in their favor and our rights are being slowly eroded. You can beat the wrap later, but you can't beat the ride.
We also need to do our homework, vote, and vote well, for those that believe in the constitution, human rights and to a much lesser degree, special interests.

The real kicker is the arresting officer can pretty much charge you with whatever he wants, then let the rest of the judicial system sort it out after the fact.

You may have all charges dropped or your case dismissed, but you've already been hauled in and pretty much had your day wasted and now have a "record".

Also cops are getting away with actual rights violations like unwarranted cavity searches etc, so some vice detective getting a "free ride" before busting you isn't outside the realm of possibility.

Kierstan, your best bet may be to ask your professors about it. Since you plan on going into defense, it wouldn't be too suspicious for you to have a curiosity about something you'll likely deal with in your career.
