Watched Green Inferno last night- it was ok , Roth has done better , to me you can only really do so much with tribe people eating people. I wish the lead activist had gotten a horrific fate since he was so hateable.
I need to play catch up on my movie adventures. Green Inferno is definitely on my list. I wanna go see The Boy, but can only take my oldest with me as my two other ones are too young... Looking forward to Deadpool coming out soon...

Deadpool should be good - Being a wisecracking Asshole is what ryan reynolds as always excelled at. Just look at waiting.

Going to try and at least see Hail Ceaser this weekend. It's the Coen Brothers!!! Will try and see pride and Predujuice and zombies if possible. A little weary, it's PG-13 (so is ceasar, but this is a zombie movie, of course PG-13 is not the PG-13 of yesteryear) and the last time they did an adaption like like this was the atrocious (but the action was good) Abraham Lincoln:Vampire Hunter.

1st: Pride and Prejudice and Zombies - Decent film, entertaining, but I can't help but feel the "Zombie Apoc. craze" has been beaten to death. Over all good, but by no means groundbreaking or anything that you must rush and see.
2nd: Hail Cesar - Another solid entry from the Coen brothers and a hysterical look at movie making, studio politics, and the red scare. Solid performances all around and catchy musical numbers round out this quirky piece of celluloid. Be forewarned, despite top billing and ensemble casting, some stars (i.e. Channing Tatum - everyone keeps asking me about) are in the film for all of 5 minutes. Oh, but it's a solid 5 minutes indeed.
3rd: Fifty Shades of Black - Marlon Wayans should be making some way funnier. Vulgar, crass, and utterly stupid. A chuckle here and there, most jokes don't just fall flat, they fall through the floor.

fity shades of black was dumb as hell. Marlon has some funny moments, but he has become like adam sandler, doesn't even try anymore.
Well Sandler has fallen off since going drug free. You think the same could be said for Marlon?

The only defense I can give Marlon is his source material for the movie was pretty bad. Basic instinct 2 was about as good as fifty shades of grey.
When are you gonna ask for a title change on this thread? We got some good stuff coming up, bat man super man, ID42, civil war. Maybe just call it block busters.

Thanks to you guys for keeping it alive
On another forum they have a simple movie conversation thread where you discuss movies new, old, upcoming, rumored, etc. Similar to the tv thread we have here.
Damn Trey you actually saw BI2? It's never crossed my mind to watch that. I tried to watch 50 SoG and the best I could do was in the 20 minute something mark. That movie felt like it shot on a shoestring budget. Dakota Johnson seems to be getting roles due to her parent's rep and not her talent because it sucks.
