Who in here would still have invaded Iraq in 2003? We know JD , LL and LustingGayAss would!

Shoulda let Susan Rice give that damn UN speech.

But then, unlike Hillary or Odumbo, Colin Powell is a stand-up guy.

The question is not whether they lied and mis-represented. All except IBfaggot and Lustytard know they did.

The question now is whether they admit their numerous mistakes or not. By doing that, it's an apology to the American public and to the service personnel who lost their lives in that stupid and useless fucking war. We also need it to show the trigger-happy repubtards that war is not always the answer to everything
.
For actually doing that, Colin Powell deserves respect.

Hillary Clinton deserves a modicum of respect.

Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld....they're all the spawn of Satan. They feel no remorse. They would rather us repeat the mistake than learn from it, if it means that their already sorry reputation retains a tiny bit of false integrity.

Powell's failure was not calling up BigTits and asking his opinion.

I'm not sure if Shamless was allowed to answer the family phone back then, but WTF sure could have have stepped in and set Powell straight.

After all ... they all knew BEFORE the INVASION ... there were no WMDs!!!!

Too many lib-retards like shamman just want to shout: “Bush lied,” but it's the lib-retards like shamman who are being dishonest.

Stupid individuals, like shamman, exist in a state of ignorance with a cookie-cutter notion of how the real world works, and they cannot believe and accept that gross mistakes, outside their simpleton, little cookie-cutter molds, in intelligence gathering and analysis can be made. Few of these stupid individuals, like shamman, have the incentive to understand either the utility or the limits of intelligence gathering and analysis; so, they must claim someone lied when the system fails. One need only look to Pearl Harbor, Operation Market Garden, the Korean War, the Vietnam War and in 1979 Iran to see similar gross mistakes in intelligence—and those presidents were Dim-retards.

In this instance, even if there had been no errors in gathering and analyzing the evidence, as per the WMD Commission and the Butler report, the analysts could only conclude that Saddam seemed to be actively pursuing all kinds of WMD and probably had some on hand. Most certainly, the assessment should have been expressed with much less certainty, the limitations on direct evidence should have been stressed (e.g., “Curveball’s” reports), and the grounds for reaching the conclusion should have been better explained. Nevertheless, the WMD Commission and the Butler report both indicate that the intelligence community was correct in suggesting that Saddam was probably seeking to re-arm his military forces with WMD. That conclusion is, in part, based on these known facts: 1) Saddam had had WMD in the past. 2) Saddam had strong incentives to reconstitute his arsenal. 3) He had the money to refinance such a reconstitution. 4) He had trained, competent technicians who could reconstitute his stockpile of WMDs. 5) He had the necessary materiel on hand to proceed with such a reconstitution. 6) He repeatedly stalled and deceived the inspectors—which begged the question—“What is he hiding?”

While it might be comforting to some to remain ignorant and to continue to believe that the evidence supported a conclusion different than that reached by the intelligence community—and that accepted by the Bush administration—that is simply not the case.

Well not when the lives of thousands of Americans and the (lesser valued) lives of more than 500,000 Iraqis are at stake. You can do the chicken dance all you want (lord knows you live for it), but it won't change anything. They fucking lied, they misrepresented and they also got away with it.

Asked by Ms. Walters how painful this was for him, Mr. Powell replied: "It was painful. It's painful now." Asked further how he felt upon learning that he had been misled about the accuracy of intelligence on which he relied, Mr. Powell said, "Terrible." He added that it was "devastating" to learn later that some intelligence agents knew the information he had was unreliable but did not speak up.

Besides, that wasn't even the point of what I was saying. Their fuck-up is not what we're concerned with. Their (and yours, and LustyTard's and LLmoron's) continuous denial of this monumental fuck-up is what concerns us.

You're just a pathetic little troll IB. Always interested in having the last word. Always ready with the gruber grubers, thrown in to over-zeal an already useless foaming-at-the-mouth response that your two brain cells came up with.
Go fuck yourself, chicken-dick. Keep using that 10 inch font to scream on this hooker board. If you had to add up the substance contained in the totality of your 17000+ posts, it would come out to less than half a sentence.

Hey LLIdiot, have you responded to the simple "yes" or "no" question yet?

Remember: All of the above, is NOT an option!

Even if you use the flip a coin technique, you have a 50/50 chance of getting it right.

Go ahead, give it your best flip!

So now you have to choose. Carry on your bullshit about troops in Iraq and blame Obama for putting another 500 troops in there (which has cost us billions of dollars since August of last year) or stop crying about the successful war that Bush waged and won.
