Some advocate 20 weeks because if the baby passes the vagina or c-section it isn't "viable". They use the term viable instead of won't survive because it undercuts their argument; if something can't survive outside of the womb indicates that it was alive in the first place. Seems kind of stupid to me... This is an argument about environment not life. If you take a 40 week old baby and left it out in the snow, it's not viable there either.

To me life can only either be considered at the point the egg is fertilized and split (~24 hours) or when the fertilized egg attaches in the womb (3-5 days). These are both specific events that result in physiological changes in the cell AND the mother.

Again, I don't know when life begins.... but if we're going to have to define it for legal purposes, these seem the two logical events.

To those that claim a clump of cell(s) or cell cannot be considered a life, I disagree. We already define single celled organisms as life so that isn't a valid argument.

Life, for the non birthing people, only begins when the birther misses the "bloody period" of life. Even then; for only a period of about nine months. Sometimes less. Sometimes more. Mostly it's like Goldilocks.

So be glad you don't have to deal with unwanted bleeding, cramps, mood swings and depression. Non birthing people have it so easy. In my humble opinion.
