Is the local hobby scene as bad as this board makes it seem?

You wouldn't believe the variety of them, I asked for one that looked like Pistolero but since no one knows what he looks like I got quite the assortment. Originally Posted by sexymaid_69

Quite amusing if you ask me to see any provider have to resort to lies to make themselves feel better. Originally Posted by berryberry

Garnering amusement from any of this is bullying, as defined above. Implying one is lying to make themselves feel better is very harmful and unnecessary.

This isn't the dark web, this isn't 4chan. But you all sure act like it is when you go out of your way to make disparaging remarks against providers.

The argument that this site is for sharing information is exactly the reason I can't understand why this thread has reached this point. You guys claim to have it all together, so what do you get from saying the same things over and over? If it's been said once, you got your "information" out there, no? So no need for 27 pages of 6 men attacking one provider.

I'm not going to start citing the site rules but I'd like the opinion of a moderator here.

I have a lot of useful information I'd love to share here but historically, any woman I've seen on this board with an opinion gets singled out for the purposes of harm and intimidation, so it's just not worth it.

It has been that way ever since Al Gore invented it. Some people just can't let things go and other people just aren't used to conflict I guess.

amusing

1. pleasantly entertaining or diverting:

Is no one allowed to laugh anymore? At anything? What I find amusing you may not and vice versa. That is ok.

You are perfectly welcome to post your opinions here. No one is stopping you. But this is a discussion site, so people may respond and agree / disagree or challenge your opinion. Nothing wrong with that at all.

As far as it being 27 pages long - who cares. It is about the state of the hobby in Pgh. It could go on for months if people want to talk about the subject. The hobby is always changing so what is wrong talking about it. Unless you have a reason to have information suppressed. This isn't Indy's where threads that contained honest info that was unflattering to certain providers just disappeared.
