Meet n greet....ladies n gents ...

I think this would be nice, but everybody should remember that it is a social event for everybody. People should be treated with respect and discussions should be kept to the type one would expect at a social function. Everybody should also be discreet and not pass on the invite to outsiders who don't share our interests and will just come along to see the ladies.

Club gatherings, office parties, birthday parties, retirement parties, and many other occasions all gather in hotel bars or small rooms near the bars to meet and celebrate.....hotels and motels make their money offering these spaces to customers.....LEO has no interest in these events unless someone reports illegal activities which won't occur in a public area....hell, we can all be new members of a Line Dancing Club who are meeting to get organized for the winter season !!....I can't imagine any place on Wolf or off Everett being "suspicious" of a few friends meeting for drinks.....dress like office professionals and not like bedroom professionals and you won't be noticed in the Christmas Party Crowds this time of year.....

Totally agree, lets keep it a discreet gather of friends on a night out or as you say planning a new club (Line dancing!). We just need to remember while are there that line dancing in private could be very different :-)

My point was no one would be interested/supicious in something as harmless as a line dancing club....we would be there under the pretense of organizing the club, not dancing....a retirement party would mean we all got a piece of cake though !.....Staying the full 2 hours isn't mandatory either if you've see someone you'd like to see again later......introduce yourself, express an interest and call/text her after the gathering ends....

Hello SAB; good idea, and I would like to attend, but why not. Sunday afternoon?

If these happen quarterly that'd be super. I'd love to come to one in the late winter/early Spring.
Oh and since I generally tour Upstate weekends (well sometimes I might do a Monday too). It'd be even more super duper if it happened on a weekend day .

Let's face it were not gonna get a day that's good for everyone but I think week day is best ...easier to sneak away when your already away like at work then it is to come up with excuse to leave the house on a weekend...right...

14th sounds good, affords the convenient 'Gotta go X-mas shopping' excuse.

I also like the idea of a party (who wouldn't ?) ,Sorry I likely will not be able to attend this one though. The turn out will be interesting to see ,(more guy's than gal's ) ! Hope everyone has a wonderful time . Maybe next time , Someone will have to do a report letting those of us who can't go how much fun we missed .
