What's Obama's Plan to Save Medicare?

You have made it abundantly clear that is exactly your interpretation and position, so how is she off base? Originally Posted by I B Hankering

Thank you for the acknowledgement. Think of me as your conscience.

We all fucn die. Just because you do not take your kids college fund and spend it on grandma living an extra couple of weeks does not a Death Panel make.

If my conscience is no smarter than that I'd rather you be my asshole. It would be more appropriate with all the stupid shit you Sara Palin backers are a shoveling.

You and I.B. quit doing that and I'd change out your parrot cage and give you a fruit bowl to boot.

Whats a matter gnadfly, the medicare math to hard for you?

Average pay in 120k

Average take out 300k

60% at the very end of their life.

Those facts might make me compassionless but I'll take that over stupid any day.

Yes they would clobber Obama if he offered his leadership on the issue. But he can't, as you say, because he is so far left, if he articulated his policy he wouldn't be re-elected. So his lack of leadership is gaming the system for the sake of his reelection............. Originally Posted by Whirlaway

Nobody can touch it. Obama tried with Obamacare. Where were you in 2009? Remember Death Panels? Ryan tried it with this stupid voucher system. Ditto, he is having the same problem Obama had.

So really wtf you are bitching about is both parties can not get the public to understand the problem, though that is not really wtf you are bitching about because you are one of the folks that does not understand the problem. You are bitching because Sean Hannity said you should. A damn fine reason if you have stock in Murdocks Fox News or more precise News Corp. but I doubt you have stock in that....

Do you always bitch about shit you know nothing about?

Their object to anything that he does is tactical, not necessarily ideological.

But if Obama were to announce any plan with substantial savings on Medicaid and Medicare, the Democratic base and many Democratic office holders would attack him.

The bottom line is that the people do not yet understand the math on the problems with these two programs. And because of that, they do not yet understand that to have the programs continue in anything resembling their current form, one of two outcomes is inevitable -- you are going to have to have significantly higher taxes or you're going to have to have significant rationing of medical care to people other than the poor and the uninsured.

Until that realization hits enough people, the political will to solve this problems doesn't exist. Period.
What's Odumbo's plan for Medicare?.....Why take $500B out of it to fund Odumbocare......HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! How do the seniors like that....
