Backpage CEO arrested! Lives in Frisco!

It does not matter how much he makes or if he is personally innocent. The CEO of ANY company is responsible for all the people under him as well as the company's action or inaction and making him a facilitator of those actions, hence, guilty as charged. Originally Posted by davidfree986

I'm sure tos are pretty clear on BP, this guy is going to walk and BP will get bigger with all this free advertising. Originally Posted by BLM69

PROSTITUTION AND PROMOTION OF IT IS. All they had to do is find 1 minor on BP which reports over the years says they have.....and he's fucked. Meaning THIS GUY AND THE OTHER 2 OWNERS ARE FUCKED!!!!
They're lucky this isn't the feds. RICO is an ugly word.

Wait until after the November Election is over and this will quietly fade away. It is nothing but political grandstanding going into an election.

Backpage could probably make a decent 1st Amendment argument as a defense as well as not being a direct part or have direct prior knowledge of any incident they want to allege.

no, but there are smaller charges.. obstruction, abetting, and such.. he should have cooperated with Congress, and said the same shit as Hillary regarding the 30,000+ emails.. Originally Posted by Chung Tran

Maybe we say his name 3 times he'll chime in.

Cali has him on trafficking after 3 yrs on the case. Texas has him on money laundering. As of 4pm, no sex charges in Texas reported. Texas just has to sit back and wait for him to fall in Cali. Then, they move in and say BP profitted from the trafficking. Probably will file charges for promotion of prostitution. It'll be a cakewalk for Texas if he loses in Cali.
