Yep! Why would United give a boarding pass to someone who didn't have a reservation to fly. Doing so would be an obvious violation of TSA security regulations. Originally Posted by I B Hankering

I find that hard to believe.

So once again , I said if I was CEO ....I'd get to the bottom of wtf happened. None of the reason are acceptable unless this lady did (accidently or otherwise ) cancel.

If an employee took it on their own to fuck over a paid customer, I'd fire them.

If SJL tried to make it a racial issue and it was not....I'd ban that bitch from flying United ever again.

The focus should remain on Sheila not on some citizen or United.

One day EVERYONE in this country will realize what "public servant" means.

No one in their right mind turns down an upgrade.

I agree she should be voted out but not because of this, although it does appear the bitch is trying to use the race card.

I read that she was flying on "Miles" and not a paid ticket. And what I read was there is some question under the regulations/policies if a "Miles" passenger gets the same status as a "paid" ticket holder, which may explain the "confusion" and/or conflict. If an employee is going "by the book" and the book says "paid ticket holder" then it's understandable why there may have been an erroneous decision made "unwittingly."

That begs the question though as to why Sheila allowed someone to be bumped to get her fat ass on a flight "at the last minute," which should could have booked in time for a reserved seat. She's begging for a ride and shouldn't allow someone with an existing reservation to be bumped in the absence of some emergency .... which she never has anyway! One can look and tell she's never in a hurry.

This is all on United. Even if SJL pressured them, it is on United. I've seen high mileage passengers make fools of themselves trying to get upgraded.

I do not like SJL but no passenger can get upgraded because they want to ... United is the one who makes that decision. Whether it was made at an individual decision or management , is up for debate but the fucking silly bitch had no say in whether she got upgraded.

Any given passenger doesn't have the "final say," but I've been standing at the gate when passengers are asked if they will relinquish their seat or seats to allow someone else to get on the flight. If they passengers (they are ticketed or they wouldn't be at the gate) don't volunteer they aren't bumped!

Go talk to yourself, duffus.

Be nice if you knew the difference.

If a plane is oversold, some voluntary get bumped or involuntary get bumped, not sure which planet your from but thems the facts. So yes there are passengers bumped all the time.

Go ahead and LIE!

I flew almost exclusively Continental and then United now.

Before that Southwest when it was available (it moved out of Bush) (No seats reserved!)

I've gotten on flights at the last minute changing from a later reservation at the ticket counter and the gate. I've seen others do the same thing! When my business gets done earlier than expected I get my ass back "home" on the next AVAILABLE flight.

I have heard the "offers" even after boarding, but at the gate as well .... I've even heard passengers offering, and pretending to be VIP's like LEE!

You say "over booking" but you don't know what the fuck you're talking about. That's your media hype. There are people who make reservations and don't buy a ticket or they change their reservation by scheduling a different flight, but not cancelling the one they originally scheduled, but didn't buy a ticket. They are "hedging," but no ticket was purchased (or they pay the ticket and cancel (I've done that in a pinch when I was told it was a busy flying day!). This ISSUE was a BUMP of a Miles Passenger for a loudmouth, noisy, narcissistic, fat, stupid, self-centered POS ... LIKE YOU!

Are you the least bit familiar with how Sheila Jackson "operates"! Or are you just talking shit again! Like you do about most topics! Except dick sucking and you're an expert on how to do that!

No, "we" aren't! YOU ARE! WTFLIARSNITCH!

You are the biggest Liar besides Trump and you are mad because I outed you as a Snitch.

As you change the subject!

Another lie.

The Miles passenger was BUMPED for your favorite Representative!

Another lie, I hate that bitch.

Do you have United Miles? Were any transferred from Continental?

I have over 350k miles right now and flew Continental almost exclusively. So the answer to your question is yes and yes.

Go ahead and LIE!
I flew almost exclusively Continental and then United now.

What is your point numbnuts....thousands of people have done the exact same thing.

Before that Southwest when it was available (it moved out of Bush) (No seats reserved!) Big deal, I did not care for SW (too many connecting flights) but I flew them in the 1980's quite a bit

I've gotten on flights at the last minute changing from a later reservation at the ticket counter and the gate. I've seen others do the same thing! Who hasn't that flies a lot? They do not charge a fee if you are elite one pass. They only let you do that if they have seats available. When my business gets done earlier than expected I get my ass back "home" on the next AVAILABLE flight.

I have heard the "offers" even after boarding, but at the gate as well .... I've even heard passengers offering, and pretending to be VIP's like LEE! You can not pretend to be a VIP. You either have Platinum Status or you don't.

You say "over booking" but you don't know what the fuck you're talking about. That's your media hype. Overbooking is a common practice in the airline industry. LIKE YOU, !Yes LexusLiar, that is exactly wtf I said, it was NOT an overbooking issue, it was a bumping issue.

Are you the least bit familiar with how Sheila Jackson "operates"! I'm not familiar with how that dumb bitch flies, however , common sense tells me she has a bunch of miles, probable a million plus miles which comes with all kind of perks. That said, she has no say on another passenger getting bumped. This is all on the airline. Or are you just talking shit again! Like you do about most topics! Except dick sucking and you're an expert on how to do that! Originally Posted by LexusLover

All you are doing is showing you know very little about how United works now days. SJL is not shit to United...she may have formed some friendship with the boarding agents and they bumped her, in which case that agent should be fired. IMHO.

But the passenger has very little to no say in how this are run at the airport. God damn airline agents are SS Nazi elite mutherfuckers. What they say goes. You argue with them , you get left at the gate.
