How much notice is average prior to a session?

Recently it was 20 days because the session took place in China!

One or two hours notice for regular clients. Screening new clients can take some time, and usually can verify by early next day.

I am a low frequency hobbyist, say twice a year or so (but I think about it a lot!) so when oppertunity and resources do come together I research and schedule a session a week or more in advance.
