I started watching GOT one day when I was bored and I bought the first season. Well within 3 days had finished through season 4. I'm now on the 5th season 4th Episode. I love it!! My favorite character is Arya. She reminds me so much of my youngest daughter. She acts just like her and looks like her also.

I guess it's pretty obvious who my favorite character is but I dig Arya too. She is such a badass. I am ready to see her unleashed and kicking some major ass.

The show always moves so slow and spends way too much time on sidebar story lines no one really cares about. shot after shot of Samwell emptying shit n piss for what seems like an eternity was done for what reason? other than to make me want to puke.

Other than the opening, it was blah.

I agree the Samwell bits went on way too long. I think it was to show that he still had to pay his dues - remember when he showed up saying "I'm to be the new Maester"? I guess it was trying to get across that becoming a Maester is not as simple or quick as all that and you have to start out from humble beginnings, but the point could have been made faster and perhaps less disgustingly.

I didn't know Ed Sheeran was going to have a cameo. That was kind of neat.

The opener was all over the place, it's true. I guess it's kind of unavoidable when you need to reintroduce all the main characters and what's up with them. I could have done with less reintroduction and more advancement of the plot though.

Exactly, I would think by season 7 and after 5 best selling books. The viewers would or should know exactly where things left off without the side handed retelling of events.

oh and NO TITTYS??? wtf this show was born of tittys. Sex and Violence is what captured the essence of this show. I know, I know the stars have been born and they refuse to do sex scenes now that its all big time. That and they think they must end every show with some type of cliff hanger.

But overall I am glad it is back.
